August 15th-September 15th: In-hand competition for youth ages 11-14 and 15-18. Entries are made by uploading a video of approximately 5 minutes. Required moves and points are posted on the AHA youth website. First prize in each age division is a $500 scholarship. This competition is done at home, and it's free!

Sept. 1st: AHYA Youth of the year nomination deadline. Winner receives a scholarship of $5,000. High school students should look into planning for next year as this is a fabulous resume builder.
September 1st: AHA ARABIAN HORSE AMBASSADOR AWARD NOMINATION and AHA OPEN COMPETITION AWARD NOMINATION deadline
September 15th: Deadline for Club Volunteer Award Submission to AHA
Sept. 22nd: Entry forms for the team hippology competition during AHA Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma, are due. Forms may be accessed on the AHA website under youth.
Sept. 23rd: Deadline for youth, college and senior judging contest during US Nationals. Contest is open to teams of three or four members, as well as to individuals. Cost is $150/team or $50/ individual.
