Susan White purchased AM Brave Dotation at the Al Marah Arabians forum in April. He is a 4 yr old 15.1 hand gelding sired by AM Power Raid and out of a Dreamazon daughter.

	Big news from Scottsdale! Koweta Andrea (*Bremervale Andronicus x Koweta Sonatina by AM Gypsy Village) was 2nd in the Senior Yearling Fillies AOTH.   Beautifully trained by Ted Carson and shown by Denni Mack.   She is scheduled to go to Region XV to compete in the Yearling Sweepstakes Class.

GAHA Member Wins Big!

    Tracy Lord and her purebred gelding, DA Durado – barn name Dewy, had a very winning year! At the Canadian Nationals in August, 2007, Tracy and Dewy went Reserve Champion in Arabian Sport Horse Under Saddle – ATR and with Tracy’s trainer, Cynthia Cubbage, Dewy went Reserve Champion in Arabian Sport Horse Under Saddle – Open, Reserve Champion in Training Level Dressage, Top Ten in First Level Dressage, Top Ten Arabian Working Hunter and Top Ten in Arabian Hunter Hack. At the Sport Horse Nationals in September, 2007 Tracy and Dewy went National Champion in Arabian Working Hunter – AOTR, National Champion in Arabian Working Hunter – ATR, Reserve Champion in Arabian Hunter Hack – AOTR, Top Ten in Arabian Hunter Hack – ATR and Top Ten in Arabian Sport Horse Geldings In Hand – Open. Cynthia and Dewy at the Sport Horse Nationals got Reserve Champion in Arabian Working Hunter – Open, Top Ten in Arabian Hunter Hack – Open and Top Ten in Training Level Dressage – Open. In summary, 2 National Championships, 5 Reserve Championships and 14 Top Tens. Way to go Dewy! GAHA is very proud of you!

Congratulations to Nikki Hardy & Michael Hilley!

  Niki Hardy was married to Michael Hilley on June 23, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Georgia. Two GAHA board of directors were part of the wedding party. Robin Hardy, board of director, was presented as mother of the bride and Rebecca Horton, board of director, was a bridesmaid. Also in attendance were Connie Green - president of GAHA, Janis Horton - first VP, Chris Johnson - second VP, Kathy Baier - board of director and member Kendyl Johnson. A reception with much food and drink was held after the ceremony at Bullock Springs Manor. After a honeymoon in Saint Lucia, the newlyweds will move to Athens, Georgia where Niki will start vet school in August. Michael will continue be a firefighter with Cobb county. GAHA wishes the new couple a bright and promising future together!

Koweta is so proud to announce the acquisition of Al-Marah Fight Fair (AM Double Dream x AM Fairly Fresh). Highly line-bred to the exquisitely beautiful Dreamazon, this young colt has much to offer the discriminating breeder in terms of type, balance and movement. This pedigree is scarce on the East Coast. This horse being so beautiful and correct, the importance to me as a breeder is the fact that his gene pool is narrow and that should insure that he will reproduce himself.
